Kindred Spirits is an exhibition of nineteenth century American and European landscape painting featuring many of the primary artists of the French Barbizon School, and illustrating their profound influence on American artists of the late nineteenth century. Composed of more than thirty works, the exhibition also includes representation of the Dutch Hague School and the poetic and atmospheric works of the American Tonalists.
